Apply New Voter ID Card on Voter Helpline App

The Indian government initiated the Digital India campaign in 2015. As part of this campaign, it aims to make all types of government documents and services available to citizens through digital means. The National Voter Service Portal and the Voter Helpline app by the Election Commission of India play a crucial role in this initiative. Through these apps, citizens can apply for and prepare voter identification cards. Detailed information on how to create a new voter card using Aadhar card is available on the Voter Helpline app.

For voting, it is essential for citizens to have a voter identification card. All citizens in India who are 18 years and older can apply for a voter card. The Election Commission of India has launched a “Voter Helpline” app, which can be used by all eligible citizens to apply for a voter identification card. Those who have not yet registered for a voter card can use the official app of the Election Commission of India to apply for one.

Registration for a voter identification card does not require a visit to government offices. If you have only an Aadhar card and have completed 18 years of age, you can spend a little time on the Voter Helpline app to apply for a voter card online. Through this process, you can save both time and expenses.
